Lines confirm new Asia Adriatic service

Following our Newsflash Copy 6694, May 8th, when we exclusively revealed plans by four lines to launch a new Asia/Adriatic service, Yangming has announced details of the new service

As reported, there will be four lines, Hanjin, Hyundai Merchant Marine, Yangming and UASC involved in the new service, which makes it first westbound sailing from Pusan on May 30th

Yangming will call the news service, the AAX, UASC is believed to be calling it the AMC 3 service, while Hyundai will keep to the MAE service


Ports are exactly as reported : Pusan (Sun/Mon), Shanghai (Tues/Wed), Ningbo
(Wed/Wed), Yantian (Fri/Sat), Singapore (Tues/Tues), Colombo (Sat/Sat),
Jeddah (Sat/Sat), Port Said (Mon/Tues), Alexandria (Tues/Wed), Mersin
(Thurs/Fri), Koper (Sun/Mon), Trieste (Mon/Tues), Rijeka (Wed/Thurs), Venice
(Thurs/Fri), Port Said (Mon/Mon), Singapore (Sun/Mon), Hong Kong
(Thurs/Thurs), Pusan (Sun/Mon)

Vessel deployment will be eight vessels averaging 4,700 teu capacity,
presumably with each line deploying two vessels

The first westbound sailing from Pusan is scheduled to take place on May
30th by the 4,922 teu Hyundai Supreme followed a week later by the 4,922 teu
Hyundai Forward
